When I met Sgt. Thomas, at that time he was Officer Thomas, we worked Columbia's Main Unit on the 4-12 shift. He was always willing to teach us newbies anything we were willing to learn. He showed me many useful things, and helped me to find my own little niche in the department. He was a great man both inside as well as outside the gates. R.I.P. brother. Your watch is over, we will take it from here. May god bless the loved ones and friends who were left behind.

Rest in peace brother. God bless the family, friends, and co-workers of Sgt Thomas in this time of tragedy. This is just another example of a failed justice system. A murderer that was not executed and was allowed to kill again. When will the courts ever wake up. This tragedy did not need to happen but this guy knew he had nothing to lose.
