3yrs ago today the department lost of good Sgt and a great man. I didn't know Sgt.Thomas but I heard people from my camp talk about him from their past. Its a shame he never got to meet his little girl. I walk through my gate everyday with a little more attentiveness and understanding. RIP Sarge.

Sgt.thomas which i never had the honor to know rip.we as officers are never really prepared fpr the fate that awaits us we at times just do reaping the the consequences and praying for the best but we serve with a commitment to something higher than ourselves a man will stand up for himself but a true hero will stand up for others.sgt thomas had a career in which he always could hold his head up high. I served as a cpl.united states marine corps.and by the grace of god o made it home alive.as a correctional officer in sanluis az.i also made it after 2 years of blood shed day in and day out.i am very proud of you and my highest respects for your family never let his passing be in vain.

Its already been a year my friend. And still feels like yesterday. I remember when I made a call for back up in the Confinment dorm and you were the first to come smashing through the door almost braking your arm with Sgt Durham right on your 6. And all those long boring nights sitting in F-dorm, you would keep us laughing all night. RIP my brother
