On today, the 92nd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Floyd County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Talt was my cousin also. He was with my Great Grandfather Lee Hall Jr. And his brother "Bad" John Hall at the Martin shoot out along with his brother Nick and several more cousins. Rest in peace cousin Talt......... .......

Talt was also one of my relatives, he was with my Great Uncle "Bad" John Hall, John's Brother my Great Grandfather Lee "Lee Daddy" Hall JR. John was attempting to arrest Lewis white, when the shoot out Started.

I myself have great respect for law enforcement officers as my Uncle was KSP Commissioner Gary Rose, and My first cousin is Michael Crawford, Captain at the Dry Ridge post.

Talt Hall was the grandfather of my wife. He was killed at age 33 in the Martin Train Depot shootout, Floyd Co., KY. He was survived by wife Dona Little Hall and four sons. The incident and history can be found at

I am privileged to be among the first to leave a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.
