Word of your death traveled quickly through the church where Sgt May's viewing was being held. Your death impacted men and women thousands of miles away as we thought about what your family (personal and work) was about to go through. Rest in peace troop, your work on Earth is done.

With a flash of light,
And a yelp of a siren,
A hero is taken.
We all start crying,
We show our anger,
Wipe the tears,
Then we hunt despite the danger.
The enemy hides in fear,
He cowers in self pity
Not knowing we are near.
In the end and all that matters,
Is the loss of a true brother.
You are gone,
But you will never be forgotten.

Trooper Tony will be missed. I have good memories of him as backed him on traffic stops, and in those brief moments, he was always full of smiles and happy to be Trooper Tony. Good bye Friend.

My heart is heavy my thoughts our clouded for I do not understand why my friend has been taken to heaven. Although you were years younger than me you inspired me to do my best, you were my role model. I will miss our competitive racket ball matches, our roasted jalepeno lunches, and conversations of life. I will miss you my friend.

Tony, I served with you in the 2122nd GSB USAR. Everything they say about you is true. My daughter and grandson remember having Christmas meal (in class "A"), with you and your son. You will be missed by all. You are one of a kind, the "finest kind" as they said on M.A.S.H. My thoughts and prayers go out to your son. If he is half the person you are, he will go far in life. The world needs more like you. God speed my friend and fellow Soldier, God speed.

Tony, your heart was bigger than life your smile kept many spirits alive your compassion got many through rough times. your knowledge brought out the light in the dark your life was a search light in the midst of fog. your open arms never rejected anyone, especially the downtrodden and oppressed you lived to love on the weak and poor you are blessed for you were the merciful you continually starved and thirsted for righteousness and now you are filled you are being showed mercy for you were the merciful. you see God because you are the pure in heart you are a child of God for you bestowed peace

I cant help but remember what place your in were you get to dance and sing with angels and look upon the face of God daily were HE looked at you when you got to the pearly gates and said "well done good and faithful servant with whom i am well pleased" We may want you to come back... but we know that you are content were you are
