Tony was a great guy and a outstanding Trooper. Always up-beat and smiling. I just backed him on a stop a week before this.

I remember sitting next to him during a week long class and hearing all about his life, what a great story-I looked forward to coming to class early just to visit with him.

A very sad loss for law enforcement in our community and he leaves behind a void which will not be filled. God Bless Tony and his family and all law enforcement impacted by his loss.

Huge Thanks to our Kitsap Fire brothers standing watch and to all who brought flowers to the memorial and have expressed their kind thoughts, it means a lot to those of us who are grieving.

Tony, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I know you are in a better place and watching over us all. I will always think of 557 when I see a WSP car from now on. I will always remember the time I served with you in the USAR. Your common sense, your BIG heart, and your smile. Your a good man, Rad. Godspeed my freind, Godspeed.

Dear SFC Rad i had the honor of serving with you in D co. 3-414. this weekend we had drill and me and a few of the guys that were around before you left told a few stories. my story was about how we would always talk about your car and how proud of it you were. i remember laughing so hard i couldn't breath when you told me the trunk would fit 5 bodies. now this is the way i personally determine the volume of a vehicles trunk. another story was how when you saw Spc Campbell on the road you pulled him over and did the super trooper bit on him. you always had a smile. throughout the entire time i knew you i never saw you have a bad day. if the guy that shot you had the chance to know you he wold have shot himself first. your a hero and im lucky to have had the opportunity to have known you.

We were very sadden to hear that you had left this world.
We never met,but our family knew that Officer's like you were out there making it safe for all...
I come from a long line of Police Officers, and know that it takes a special kind of person to put the badge on and go out and protect the public.

I never meet you...
Maybe I slowed my car or checked my seat belt,
when I saw you...
You never pulled me over or gave me a ticket...
We were not friends at church or long ago classmates....
Our lives never crossed except in the knowledge that I knew that troopers like you, watch over my family...
Secure in the thoughts that there are people willing to place themselves out there so that people like me may sleep safer.
It is in the selfless act of protecting our lives that you lost yours.
There are no mere words that can covey the true thankfulness that you were there for our family and many others.
No words that convey the sadness of the tragedy of that night...
Just know that when I pass Gorst, I will say a prayer for those you have left behind.
Peace to you....

I remember several years ago I did have the pleasure and honor to ride an entire shift with Tony and he was truly an extraordinary man who truly loved his family, his friends, his co-workers, and his fellow brothers and sisters who served with him in Iraq and Afghanistan. Chief Baptiste summed up Tony very well, that whether it was a one on one encounter or a room with 500 people he was nothing short of captivating.

Tony, you will be missed but never forgotten, and your legacy will forever remain alive and strong. You are now with your Lord and you will rejoice for all of eternity! RIP

Officer Tony was an upstanding example of what a law e
nforcement officer should be like. He was always in a good mood and had a smile as big as his giant heart. He will be in our prayers for a long time and will be greatly missed out on the highways. It is men like him that have our backs and make it safe out there. One more gone too soon but as they say, "Only the good die young. With great sympathy to his family and all of Law Enforcement, I send our familys deepest condolences.

Tony was a pleasure to work with and to be around. Always professional yet always able to make you smile also. He was a welcome sight on accident scenes,... even the scene he brought with him to station 51 in Silverdale, what a night!
