Reflections for Trooper Tony Vian Radulescu

Trooper Tony may you rest in peace as well as giving future Officers the guidance and strength to protect us in this cruel and evil world.

I hope the Judge slam dunks the 6 culprits that helped an idiot take your life away from you in this senseless tradegy, so we may go on with the strength of JUSTICE WAS SERVED ON ACCOUNT FOR TROOPER TONY RADULESCU.

I did not know this trooper, but I have the highest respect for the men and women of the WSP. I remember being pulled over for speeding by a trooper in Veradale over thirty years ago. He was the consumate professional; he gave me a warning, then showed me all the electronic gizmos in his cruiser. I was so impressed by this trooper's concern for my safety--and that of others--that I stopped sneering at "cops," I learned to respect them. Trooper Radulescu sounds like that sort of man, one who represents the best in law enforcement. Once again, I never knew him, but I will miss Tony Radulescu.

My heart hurts thinking about the sad loss of Trooper Tony. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, from what I have read from fellow brothers, sisters, friends, and family, he was the real deal. The world has lost a great person, and every time I see a WSP car, I will think of this tragedy. You will be missed by all! My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends in this difficult time.

To Trooper Radulescu’s family and friends, words are not enough to express the heartache felt for the loss of your father, son, brother, soul mate, uncle and friend. My thoughts and prayers remain with you now and well into the future as you travel down the path of your tremendous loss and grief.
To Trooper Radulescu’s fellow Troopers and all law enforcement officers, thank you for caring for all of us so much that you risk your life every day on our behalf. Words also cannot express how much I appreciate your sacrifice and great contribution to all of us. When I see you out in the community, on ferries, traveling or along the side of the roads, it reminds me of your efforts and to travel safe and look out for myself and other travelers. I offer my condolences to you here because if I tried to do so personally to those of you I see out in our community I could not speak past my sorrow for your loss. I did not know Trooper Radulescu personally, but feel deep sadness for his tragic passing. I grieve with you and will continue to hold you in my hearts and prayers.
Trooper Radulescu, for those of us who did not know you personally it is obvious that we missed an opportunity to know someone quite special. You were well loved. Thank you for watching out for us. God bless you.

Trooper Radulescu. I never had the opportunity to meet you, but I know amny who were alot like you. Kind, giving, respectful and dignified. Those are not only the hallmarks of a good police officer, but as a decent and upstanding human being as well. I've driven through Kitsap County hundreds of times over the 16 years that you patrolled the higways of that area and knew it was always safe to pass as you were out there making sure that it was that way. Your loss has left me without words to say, but I can tell you that each and everyone of us has nothing but the utmost respect for you and the job you did. You have not left us Tony, instead you have taken watch over a larger patrol area to keep us all even safer yet than before. You may be gone, but will never be forgotten. May you rest in eternal peace. God Bless.

Tony,

I'll miss you. You were the real deal. You treated everyone in the brotherhood of the thin blue line and military reservist as your best friend.
If we had not seen each other in awhile we just picked up where we left off.

You treated folks you pulled over and or arrested with respect and the way you would want to be treated.

When we next meet I think it's my turn to buy coffee.

Rest in Peace Brother. We'll take the watch from here.

Trooper Radulescu was obviously an important figure in the lives of his family and a valued member of the community. Losing someone like him is a tragedy. My heart goes out to his family who will have to live with his loss for the years to come. My son, Chris Kilcullen, was a Eugene Police officer who was shot in the line of duty April 22, 2011. We have been blessed with the continuing support of the Eugene/Springfield community and the members of the Eugene Police Department. I wish the same for the Radulescu family. For those of you with close ties to the family, i encourage you to keep in touch and provide all the support you can; not just now, but it the months and years to follow. Simple things such things as checking in to see if there is anything you can do around the house is greatly appreciated. Most important, don't let time fade your memory of Trooper Radulescu and your resolve to help his family. God bless you Trooper Radulescu and rest in peace.
