Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty. For all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.

Special Officer Bodley, you did much in those 2 years to help protect America's Railroads and for that you are a hero. The fate of your killer is not recorded here, but we can only hope he faced true justice, if not in this world, then in the next.

God Bless you and may your eternal rest be peaceful, Brother.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 107th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
