To the family of Deputy Sheriff Matt Miller, Family and Friends,

It is with great sadness I learn of the loss of D.S. Miller. He was a dedicated officer by all accounts and a motorcycle enthusiast just like myself. I pray that you find comfort in the many memories you have shared with Matt as I am sure that is how he would want it. No, I did not know Matt personally, but I know him Fraturnally. God bless you Matt. You are in Heaven One as we say in the Blue Knights LE MC.

As a long time friend of Matt's (Sid, as I knew him), I was shocked to hear of this terrible loss today . . . I'd known "Matt" since the mid 80's, both from the racquet ball club (yes, he was THAT good), and personally . . . my father was the mayor of Casselberry through most of the 80's, and early 90's, and I saw him many times out patrolling the streets of Seminole County on his scooter . . . what a shame to lose such a good guy, so early in life, and so close to retirement . . . my prayers go out to his wife, and family . . . you'll be missed good friend!

This past August I was on the beach when I noticed a man with a highway patrol tattoo. I asked him where he was from and he proudly stated Seminole County Sheriff's Dept. He was a motor officer and as most motor officers say, the best job there is. I don't recall the deputy's name as we only spoke briefly but I know today he is probably thinking of his fellow Deputy. So to him and the rest of the Seminole Deputies as well as the family of Deputy Miller, my sincere sympathies.
