I wanted to let Ronnie's wife and kids know that Ronnie truely loved them. I met Ronnie through my wife, when he started with the 911 center in Butts County several years ago. Every time I spoke with Ronnie him and I would talk about our families. Ronnie would always speak about his love for his wife and his two daughters. Our last conversation was about how he loved working night shift because that meant he could get home in time to see his two daughters off to school. Ronnie was and always will be a true man in my eyes, because he was all about his family first and then trying to be the best deputy sheriff he could be for the people of Butts County. I never had the pleasure to talk to Ronnie on a regular every day bases but the times I did talk with him it was a pleasure. Anyone whoever had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie was blessed to have met him and I am deeply saddened that I will never get the chance to enjoy another conversation with him. So long Ronnie, job well done and you will be truely missed.

Jasper County Sheriff's Office
