To the famiy, I am so sorry for your sudden loss. The only possible comforting thing I can say to you is as you grieve and lay him to rest, your family will make the choice to be thankful for what you do have and not what you don't have. I say this as, my family has personally lost 3 significant family this past year. Holidays are always so hard, especially the first ones after a loss. I began to spiral down the road of anger and depression during Thanksgiving. I decided the night before Thanksgiving, that the kids and I were going to get up and talk about What we HAVE, take a brief moment to miss our loved ones, then rejoice in each other, and the other blessings that we have.

I pray this helps you, time is the only true blessing in healing.

In my prayers.
