My condolences go out to officer Figoski's family and fellow officers. I can't say any words to lessen the pain for the family, loved ones and fellow officers. I can only say, everyday we officers leave home to face the unknown, but knowing we may not return to those we love. We wake up each day and say, we will respond to whatever is called upon us with no bias, apply the law, and treat everyone fairly. We anticipate that it will be a normal call, but we know none are normal, but only appear that way. We hope God is watching over us and he is, always, but we never know when God is going to call us home now do we?
I will pray for the officer, his family, his loved ones, his fellow officers, and for my own, as I know everyday, anyday could be my own.
Rest in peace my brother in blue..........I will walk the beat with you someday my unknown brother in blue!!
