For Police Officer Deriek W. Crouse:

Our duty as law officers is fraught with high risk and the chance of meeting with murderous individuals no matter the officer or jurisdiction. We regret that our brother Deriek would be the next victim of a deranged and angry killer who would strike and then take his own life, the ultimate expression of the craven among us.

We pray for Deriek's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Officer Deriek Crouse, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.
