Jim worked with me as a CHP officer in Hayward, Ca.
He was an excellent officer and a friend.
Jim told me he wanted to join the Vallejo P.D. and if I would be willing to talk to a rep. for his employment.
Needless to say that the P.D. liked what they saw and he was hired.
He will be missed.

Jim made the ultimate sacrifice for our community while trying to keep us safe. Jim had a light that he shared with anyone who saw the twinkle in his eyes and the smile on his lips. Let us honor him by continuing to share that light with others. Let us keep his family and brother and sister officers in our thoughts and hearts as we go along our paths.

What a sad tragedy to such a great man of integrity and honor. As a retired Peace Officer, and former Marine, I honor you by the only means available to me; by my heart and words, which is not nearly enough in my mind. But, never-the-less, may your family find solace with the thought you are in a better eternal place. My best wishes always to all who loved you and called you a true friend.
