I send love, thoughts, and prayers to the family of Officer Fleming, the other officer injured and the Department. May God watch over the families and officers during this difficult time.

"Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen."

That's very sad. One can only hope death was instant, and not...well...you know. Hopefully the driver of the car in the chase is sentenced. I don't expect murder to be his charge, but Involuntary Manslaughter or such. RIP Officer. You did well. :(

I just left Law Enforcement 5 months ago to finish school, I was with the Richmond County for 18 years. I am so sorry for the loss of another Officer. I pray for her family; her husband and children and her fellow law enforcement family. We here just lost one of our fellow brothers and I know the pain ya'll are going thru. A husband without a wife, children without a mother, a community without one of its protectors. Once again, the thin blue line loses an officer.
