Reflections for Police Officer Terry Mae Lewis Flemming

Officer Fleming, you will not be forgotten! R.I.P.

Deputy Sheriff
Livingston County (Il) Sheriff's Ofc.

Rest in Peace, Sister. Thank you for your service.

Sgt. Kevin Kratz
Buena Vista Twp Police Department (Michigan)

October 29, 2011

For Police Officer Terry L. Fleming:

The officer on patrol has the front-line position and every decision to act is upon his or her shoulders. The high-speed chase is one incident, among a number, that presents the greatest risk for the officer. We regret that our sister Terry would be the latest law officer among us who has died protecting and serving the public.

We pray for Terry's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about her. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Officer Terry L. Fleming, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

We are the thin blue line between good and evil. Why the good die before the evil I cannot understand. Thoughts and prayers to your family, friends and your agency. Rest in peace sister, we have the watch now. Your family will be a part of our law enforcement family, forever.

My prayers go out to the Family and to the Albany Police Department during this time. Though we never know when our time as Officers are up, we go in everyday knowing it may be our last. We will never understand or even come to grips why the Lord is taking so many of us unless it is that those gone to be with him, passed all of his tests and made it through the last interview making it to his grand Police Department. Officer Fleming, you will always be in our thoughts and minds and you will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, we will continue the fight from here.
