Reflections for Deputy Sheriff James David "JD" Paugh

The definition of hero is someone who does the right thing despite the personal outcome or consequence.

The fact of the matter is is that soldier was most likely on his way to commit mass murder. D/S Paugh intervened and most likely saved numerous innocent lives.

God Bless D/S Paugh and i hope the memory of his heroism can someday assuage the terrible loss his family, agency, and community feel.

In Valor, There Is Hope

Sincerely,

As I wake up and see a law enforcement officer knowing that I am safe. As I fall asleep knowing a law enforcement officer is watching over me. As I take the time to realize what life really is, doesn't mean they aren't watching over me. When I put on the badge and take the oath, I know that I am dedicated to watch over others.
