Officer Wargo was my DARE teacher in the 6th grade. 12 years later, I still remember all of the lessons he taught my class. I remember him as a kind and funny man who genuinely cared about others (especially us kids, at the time). He went above and beyond to ensure that we all grew up to be responsible, caring citizens who made the right decisions in life. His is a life to be honored and remembered always. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

While nobody can ever figure out what God's will is, we must take comfort in knowing that Officer Wargo has been called into service in Heaven. For your service and dedication I thank you. For your being a good person touching so many lives in a positive way, I really thank you. Rest in peace, and while we will never fill the void of your absence, we will try to live each day while not forgetting the ultimate sacrifice you gave.

I dont think anyone can disagree that Joe made you smile and forget whatever was going on when he came around with his big heart, bright smile, loud laugh, and even bigger voice lol. Its rare to come across a person like Joe, he truely is one of a kind and will be greatly missed by everyone. God bless the MTAPD and his fellow brothers in blue. I know Joe will watch over all of you to keep you as safe as he can. Much love BIG Daddy Wargo.

My most sincere condolences to the fellow Law Enforcement Officers of Patrolman Joseph Wargo.
Sadly, our Country has lost another one of America's finest, a true hero. I'm writing on behalf of many civilians, who recognize the risks you take, the sacrifices you and your families endure, to protect the Constitutional Rights and Individual Freedoms we are blessed to experience.

My deepest sympathy to Patrolman Wargo's wife, words do not come easy, nor do they seem to adequately express my feeelings. God Bless you. I pray the support and compassion from those who befriended and respected your husband, will to some extent ease your heart and sorrow in time.
