John Wayne was a friend to everyone here in Grenada. He was the kind of person that would do anything for anyone who asked and he would give you the shirt right off his back. Anytime we went on band trips or to out of town football games John Wayne was the life of the party. He was also a volunteer fireman and has been to many fires with my husband and stood by his side in the face of danger. He also had a great passion for his trains and he loved going to train shows. His real true love was his family and friends. He and his son were the best of friends and did just about everything together. Where you saw one you usually saw the other one. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. I pray for his family and the GPD at this time. Fly High our good friend we all miss you and I can still here you saying hey girl whats up and then be good when we parted. Thanks for all the good times we had and keep smiling down on us here on earth!
