The death of any Law Enforcement Officer is tragic. To lose two officers is even more so. This loss is especially tragic in that these two Deputies were volunteers. They represent the essence of why we have this great Country, with all its flaws. From the founding of the United States it is that group of Americans who step forward voluntarily to fight our nations foes. Having had a military career as well, I realize how much Americans take for granted the order that law enforcement officers provide them, the risks that they take and how, like members of our great military, they are fighting for the freedom of our countrymen. Those that volunteer to come to the fight are extra special. God Bless these two Great Americans, and comfort their families, friends and colleagues.

St. Michael,

Heaven's glorious Commissioner of Police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional eyes on you earthly force. Give us cool heads, stout hearts, hard punches, an uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgment. Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptation. You know Saint Michael, from your own experiences with the devil that the policeman's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration. And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your Heavenly Force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of men...
Amen
God Bless You MY Brother* R.I.P. May all thoses, that your life has touched, God's Speed to wipe away their tears & comfort their broken Hearts<3 Our/Your Fellow Officers will Forever have your Back! Take Your rest in the Loving arms of out Father ...
