Words can not describe the loss felt by myself and this community. To Lana and the family, I am so sorry for the sudden and tragic loss. Bryan was a great friend and co-worker to everyone who knew him. His contagious smile and sense of humor will be missed by all. He truely was an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to know and work with him. I have had the great pleasure to know and work with Bryan for a long time and will missed. Bryan wore many hats in his life and accomplished alot.

Bryan truely represented the THIN BLUE LINE between good and evil. It is so tragic that a great man's life is taken so soon.

RIP Brother and we will take it from here.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

My heart goes out to the family and Sheriffs Dept during these tough times. I will miss Sleeper stopping by the fire station just to shoot the breeze and I will miss responding with him to calls. Its going to be hard not seeing him on a medical or a accident running around like he always did. We work so closely with the Sheriffs Dept. They are our extended family. I feel like we lost one of our own. You will be missed 4837.

ANOTHER LOSS TO OUR POLICE FAMILY AT THE HANDS OF ONE WHO PLACES THEMSELVES ABOVE THE LAW. NOTICE TO THOSE WHO WOULD EVEN CONSIDER REDUCING POLICE EMPLOYEES TO PAY FOR UNWISE MONEY MANAGEMENT OF THE REDUCED BUDGETS WE ARE MANDATED TO WORK WITH. PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY AND DEPARTMENT HE LEFT AND LOVED.

I DID NOT HAVE THE PLEASURE OF MEETING DEPUTY SHERIFF BRYAN SLEEPER BUT FROM THE POSTED REFLECTIONS HE LEFT A VOID WITH PEOPLE THAT HE WORKED WITH AND THE PUBLIC HE SERVED. WE MUST REMEMBER HOW HE LIVED AND LOVED WHAT HE DID, NOT HOW HE DIED.

GOD BLESS BROTHER AND GO TO YOUR REWARDS.

Bryan, I will miss you. It was only a week ago that we had talked to each other. Your infectious laugh was always a joy. I remember many conversations together in the cell house and you would talk about your dreams of a law enforcement career. You died doing what you loved. Words can not describe the pain I feel realizing that you are gone. I just hope you know that you were a friend and the world is at a loss without you. My life is at a loss. Rest in peace brother.
