Mark,
Thanks for all the great service you gave with Scouting. You will be truly missed. I will continue to keep your two sons in my prayers and am truly sorry that you got your "birth certificate" into God's Kingdom too early. You truly earned it with your servant's heart.

To your sons,
May the memories you have with your Dad keep you in God's loving kindness. When you share those with others, you keep him alive. You are in our prayers and thoughts.

For Trooper Mark Toney:

The law officer on patrol is dependent upon his fellow law officers for back-up when the situation turns toward need of help. Each of us has responded to that call for assistance and we attempt to respond swiftly and safely. No matter our training and experience, the risk remains high for collision while on patrol. We regret that our brother Mark would be the latest to forfeit his life in the service to others.

We pray for Mark's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Trooper Mark Toney, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

"Never forget what they did here. It is rather for us, the living, to be dedicated here to the great task remaining before us - that, from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion - that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain."
President Lincoln

Your sacrifice and last full measure of devotion will not be forgotten. RIP Brother
