I've been doing this job for 10 years and lost some friends along the way. I know this is a hard time for your department, your friends, and most importantly, your family. I have never met you, but I have met someone that knows you and they spoke of nothing but good things. There are no words to give thanks, sorrow, or grief that can be said now. From one LEO to another, you will be missed in not just the State of Iowa, but the entire country.
