Officer Sollohub I never met. I never had to meet him to have the utmost respect for him and all other men and women who wear the badge. Today in honor of this fine young officer the flag at my home flys at half staff. To his family I send prayers that you may heal from this event. I also say thank you for raising a boy that grew to be a fine man and a fellow law enforcement officer. APD stand tall my friends and lean on one another. Always know that you have friends around this nation that feel the sorrow with you. God bless you my friends.

Thank you Officer Sollohub for standing between evil and those they would prey upon. Without brave men like you and your fellow officers, evil would triumph. You filled someones shoes when you began your career and now yours are to be filled to continue the good fight. RIP as you stand before your maker and continue your patrol. May God bless & comfort your family during the following days of this terrible tragedy. You are TRUELY a hero!!
