Our unit was called to assist Freemansburg with the perimeter around the shooting scene. I was amazed and awed at the outpouring of help from many communitiies. While I didn't know Officer Lasso I did know some people who did and couldn't help but feel their loss. Even though they were hurting they all did their jobs very professionally.
During the procession to the community college there were many people waving flags and holding sogns. Apparently Officer Lasso touched many lives. Every story I heard about him was about hiow kind and consoderate he was. He was also good for a prank or joke, always smiling.
I salute Officer Lasso and pray for his family. He is a hero to his community and the ultimate professional. Rest in peace, Robert, God bless.

Your husband was a hero and paid the ultimate sacrifice. He will never be forgotten. Officer Lasso, thank you for your service, Rest In Peace.
