Our thoughts and prayers go out to Officer, Lasso's family. As we are residents of Freemansburg, we often saw Officer Lasso drive by our house and always with a smile and a wave when my boys were out playing in the front yard. If we took a walk past the police station and Office Lasso was outside, he always took the time to say hello and talk to our boys for minute or two.

May you rest in peace and my God bless and watch over your family!

My sincere condolences to the entire Lasso family and friends. As a retired police officer & chief I fully understand the dangers involved in law enforcement. Perhaps it is time to utilize the death penalty more often than not when such a tragedy takes place as it has. Murderers when convicted, must face the death penalty and be executed. In this case it was a law enforcement officer that was killed. In many cases it is civilians. This crime must be punished by execution or the numbers will just increase and increase as they have been in recent times. The public must speak out. Again my condolences and sincere sympathies, GOD BLESS.
