It gives me great hardship to see a healthy police officer with so much life ahead of him- so close to their retirement, end their career in this matter. There are no words to illustrate this loss to your family, to your friends and to your brothers in the NYPD. I know you serve your community with pride and honor and this will always be with you. My prayers are with your family- and when I get to heaven, I know many of you, including yourself will be there to welcome me at the gates.
