Takes a special person to wear this badge. This young man was special. Praying God will ease the pain the family is feeling and also his broken hearted family of the Sheriffs force. God be with each and every one who knew and loved him and help them through the days ahead, Amen....

It always hits home when any officer young, old, new or veteran loses his/her life in the service of his fellow man, but i believe it hits even harder when its an officer of such young age and service. It takes a special kind of person to lay down those things most dearest to us, only to go out and protect those things most dearest to others. To Davids family and department, rest easy knowing that David answered that calling. Deputy Jennings, you are a hero. May you rest in peace.
