this is so sad, i really hope that young girl is grateful for his attempt to help her, and i hope she remembers that he gave his life for her. may she remember that always for the rest of her life.

Everytime I hear of an officer or fire person who dies this way. I reflect back and think with the search and recues or recoveries, it could have been me.
