Another sacrifice, another black band across the badge, another funeral, another widow, another guardian angel to watch over us all. I am thankful that I got to see and speak to Russ right before this happened. I am crushed and haunted by the circumstances. Russ was an unassuming man who loved being a cop. He will be missed and forever remembered.

Rest in peace my brother.
