Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Roger Dale Rice, Jr.

RIP brother, praying for your family.

Our hearts bleed for you and yours.

Oh Almighty God, whose great power and eternal wisdom embraces the universe.

Watch over all policemen and law enforcement officers.

Father in Heaven please give them the strength, courage and perseverance to endure

The unjust condemnation, danger, and physical abuse to which they are at times subjected.

We recommend them to your loving care because their duty is dangerous.

Dear God, grant these brave men your almighty protection,

Unite them safely with their families after duty has ended.

Amen

This is a sad and very tragic incident. We have lost another brother in Law Enforcement. My heart goes out to the wife and children of this great hero. Also for the fellow officers of the Laurens county sheriffs office. Im in my 11th year of Law enforcement and everyday I put on this badge, I wear it with pride because of heroes like this.

It's such a hard thing to hear that yet another police office has been shot down for just doing his job and it's hard to take. But please know that your family are in our thoughts and prayers and God welcomed another soldier home, he is at peace and may God bless all our men and woman in blue and give them protection as they walk that thin blue line each day.
