I taught this fine officer while he was at the police academy. Very motivated young man. Talked to him at length a number of times. Huge loss for law enforcement and community he served. Heart and prayers go out to his family. As a verse in the Bible says "No greater gift hath a man to lay down his life for his friends." RIP brother in blue.
