Prayers are with the family. We have lost a true hero and a brother. He gave his life for his family, friends, and many he did not know. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. I look forward to the honor in working beside you and among the ranks in the streets of heaven. Until we meet, RIP brother

I taught this fine officer while he was at the police academy. Very motivated young man. Talked to him at length a number of times. Huge loss for law enforcement and community he served. Heart and prayers go out to his family. As a verse in the Bible says "No greater gift hath a man to lay down his life for his friends." RIP brother in blue.
