A warrior lives every day with the spirit of all the Officers who have payed the ultimate price. The price these brave warriors pay for the ultimate sacrafice is only surpassed by the legacy they leave behind for the families and other Officers to admire and remember always. This warrior did indeed pay the ultimate sacrafice, as did many more before him. His spirit will be be a guiding beacon for others to gain strength. His legacy, his spirit and his memory will always be remembered by those still fighting and holding the thin blue line. God bless these Officers for a willingness to do a job few would do. God bless Officer Pagerly, God Bless his Family and God bless all the ones that have gone on before. So Sorry. So sorry.....

Our hearts are deeply saddened today by what we read this morning. Kyle, I remember you as being such a fine young man with hopes and dreams. You loved your family, your country and were a special person. Your Dad was so proud of you!! I haven't seen you for awhile but I knew how well you were doing through one of your fellow officers who admired you so. We are so very proud of you for your bravery and you truly are a "hometown hero." You will be missed by so many people who's lives you touched including ours. God Bless you for all you have done for us here at home, in the service, firefighting and for your family. We will pray that your family will find a way to go on without you and know that you will be watching over them, protecting them like you were trained to do. We love you and will never forget what you have done for Berks County Pennsylvania. To Dave, I can't even imagine what you are going through right now. I can't imagine losing a child. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Rest in Peace Kyle. You are now reunited with your Grandmother Pagerly and together I know you will be looking down on the Pagerly Family. God Bless You.

Kyles K9 partner Jynx was not able to fulfill his real duty last night and that was to keep his beloved partner safe. Through no fault of his own, since it is God who determines when we step into eternity, Jynx lost his best friend. I have a feeling he will be despondent over these next several months. I think the sparkle in Jynx eyes that was put there by his best friend Kyle will be dimmed but just like Kyle would have wanted, Jynx will step up to the plate once again and make his mark in the K9 world with happy memories of his beloved handler and friend. RIP Kyle and know your partner will be well taken care of.
