It is with great sadness in my heart to think this country has lost such a great human being, who touched the lives of so many. Although I had not been priveledged to have personally met this hero, I can't help but to realize how many families, friends, and coworkers have been blessed to have had Kyle in their lives, making a difference. Kyle, you are the kind of man that represents what we only hope to achieve over the course of our time we have here on earth... Dedication, leadership, honor, integrity, loyalty, and love. You will be sorely missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who meant so much to him. God has a plan for all of us...I pray Kyle's family and friends will trust and believe that he is at peace and will always be looking over your shoulder everyday, protecting you in ways that you can't imagine... especially his wife and unborn child....

My heart goes out to the family of Deputy Pagerly.

I never met him in person, but from times past interacting with officers in the Sheriff's office when applying for and renewing my carry permit, all the officers I met were an honor to the office they held and the badge they wore. I have much respect for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to serve and protect the communities we live in.

May his memory live on in his family and the community he served. And may God be with each one who has been personally touched by this tragedy.

My heartfelt condolences to the Pagerly Family,Berks County Sheriff's Office members, and the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force members. This will be a very difficult time for all as *we[*East Tennssee} suffer a similar event in 2004. As a K9 Supervisor/Trainer this will also be a very hard time as well for those K9 Officers who trained and work with Deputy Kyle Pagerly. K9 Officers are a very tight group. They know the dangers they face each and every time they deploy their K9 partner. Its takes a special individual to be a K9 Officer and I'm sure there was no other job he wanted more!
I salute you K9 Officer Kyle Pagerly,God Bless you and God Bless your Family in this most difficult time. my prayers are with you, my fallen brother.........
