Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Kyle David Pagerly

It is difficult to put into words the feelings of sadness and anger felt when a dedicated Officer is taken from us. your service will not be in vain. You put on your uniform every day, you served with pride and honor. I honor you and God will bless you upon arrival in Heaven. Although many people did not have the privilege to meet you, including myself; it's obvious the impact you have made to your friends, family, co-workers, and complete strangers. You define the word HERO in every way. And you protected and served this nation every single day you had the chance. Rest in peace.

God grant you the rest and peace in His eternal home. May He lead you to green pastures and feel the peace and tranquility of His grace.
You only had a short time here but made a Big difference. We met you at the Reading Expo this year and you talked to both of us, while another fellow officer took a picture of our Shiloh German Shepherd, King. The other officers were grateful for all the donations we made to the K-9 division. Your work will go on and may your family and child, through stories get to know you!!

A fallen hero

A policeman was killed last night.
He died while protecting your rights.
His creed was to protect and serve.
This fate in which he didn't deserve.
His fellow officers are hurt so deep.
For a fallen brother they weep.

As I watch the news, I, Still wonder why?
Why must this happen to one who saves lives?
To protect and to serve
These words are so true, so why did this have to happen to you?

It was an honor to have known you Kyle R.I.P

To the wife and family of Kyle,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. I only met Kyle once but my husband trained with him had only good things to say about him and Jynx.

As a wife of a fellow officer I can only imagine your pain. I hope knowing how many lives Kyle touched provides you with some sense of peace.

RIP Officer Pagerly! You will never be forgotten!

Kyle,

You will be greatly missed by both Berk's Sheriff's Dept, and the rest of the County PD's. I remember when you stopped by a Burglary in Progress call I was handling on N. 13th st in 09', and volunteered to send Jynx through the house for me, to clear it. As it turns out, it was only the home owner's kid and his friends cutting school, but I was very impressed by both your's and Jynx's professionalism, and how much you both loved the Job. My Prayers and Thoughts are for your family in the future. Rest in Peace, Brother!

My heart goes out to the Pagerly family. I lost a daughter many years ago and from time to time I still feel the pain.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kyle. I have worked in law-enforcement for 23 years and consider Kyle a true law-enforcement professional. I was truly impressed the first time I met Kyle about three years ago. I would tease him, because he wore many "hats". Kyle had the right to wear those "hats" with pride. Kyle was always dedicated and focused on the task at hand. Kyle was knowledgeable, humble, honorable and a hard worker. We need more men like Kyle in law-enforcement.

I also had the pleasure of riding road bicycles with Kyle last Saturday; we did about 31 miles. It was a lot of work for me to keep up with Kyle; he was nothing but speed on that bicycle.

Pagerly family, I'm praying for you all. May God's strength and peace be with you all in this time of great loss and sadness. May your hearts be carried by God's loving spirit through this surreal tragedy.

Kyle will be missed by many . . .

~ PEACE ~
