Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Kyle David Pagerly

Chief Strzelecki and the entire Niles Police Department extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Pagerly. Godspeed.

Niles, Illinois Police Department

July 6, 2011

To the family of Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly; I wish I could take the pain away that you will be experiencing for longer than you can imagine but with the support of your law enforcement family and your family and friends, you will be stronger than you ever thought you could be. Kyle will watch over you every day and you will know he is there. Look for the signs. They will be there.
My husbandl; Deputy Sheriff Edward "Skip" Schroeder was taken from me very unexpected in January of 2005. Without the support of his friends, family and the Sheriffs Department, I am not sure how I would have survived. So lean on them whenever you need to do so. They would have it no other way. Kyle will never be forgotten. He will live on in everyone's heart that loved him so dearly. May you find peace as the days go by and know that he will watch over all his loved ones. I wish you all the best in the days and weeks ahead. He was a true hero. Rest In Peace.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Kyle's wife, Alecia and unborn child and family. Your loss is being shared by all who knew him, worked with him, trained with him and loved him. I did not know Kyle but I am a police dispatcher and realize the brotherhood and sisterhood of those in law enforcement.
Kyle, you will be missed more than you ever know. I am sure Jynx will be the protector over your family. R.I.P. Kyle...God be with you.

Our deepest sympathy to Deputy Pagerly's family. Kyle is a true HERO who gave his best to his country and his community! I'm glad to hear that Jynx, Kyle's loyal partner, will be home with Kyle's wife as he must be a source of comfort for her during this very difficult time. It is obvious from all the comments that he was well respected and well liked. His family can be very proud of everything he did and everything he stood for! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. It is comforting to know that his wife and unborn child will be looked after and well cared for by the Law Enforcement family in Kyle's absence. Our Police Officers put their life on the line every day and we need to pray for each and every one of them.

May God warmly welcome you to Heaven. I pray He blesses and comforts your family and co-workers in this time. Rest in Peace.

Heros in Life Not In Death. This is the motto in Ontario, Canada for Officers who "All Gave Some and Some Gave All".
Another senseless death for those who give the Ultimate for persons they dont know. They defend property and the lives of others to make this place a better and safer place to live.
With God's Speed and My Sincere and Heartfelt Condolences go out to The Family of Deputy Sheriff PAGERLY, and his Brothers and Sisters.
You will be surely missed but never forgotten.

Pags, I don't even know how to start this because I never thought in a million years I would be writing to you on here.
SInce I started in our department 4 years ago I've only ever heard good things about you, never even one negative thing. And when I finally got to work with you in the Warrants Division I found out why. You are the most respectable person I've ever had the honor of knowing.
When I worked dayshift with you I was always more then happy when I got the chance to ride with you and Jynx because I knew it was going to be a good day to have you and jynx as my partners. You gave EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt and NEVER looked down on anyone. Always more respectable then I could ever be to everyone.
You are the definition of a professional in ever sense of the word my friend.
I'm sorry I couldn't be closer on the day that will always hold a dark cloud in my heart. But you are a HERO, you saved everyones life that was there on that night. And for that....we are forever in debt to you, Alicia and your soon to be born child.
I love you Pags....and I promise as long as we around you will NEVER be forgotten.

St. Michael the Arch Angel,
Defend us in battle
Be our defense against the wickedness & snares of the Devil,
May God rebuke him,
We humbly pray,
And You, Oh! Prince of the Heavenly Host,
Thrust into Hell Satan and the other Evil Spirits,
who prowl about the Earth for the Ruin of Souls

Amen

Eternal Rest Grant unto Him Oh! Lord.
May the Light of Perpetual Help Shine Upon Him!
May His soul and all the Souls of the Faithfully Departed
Through the Mercy of God
Rest in Peace.

Amen

To the Family of Officer Pagerly and the Sheriff's department
As a member of the Philadelphia Sheriff's Fugitive Unit I understand what we are expected to do as Officers and I understand what we go through on a daily basis we try to keep ourselves and partners save so we can return home to our families as we execute these high profile warrants.
I had the privilege to work with some of the Officers of your Unit
when they came here to Philly to pick up persons that we had arrested on your warrants.
My prayers go out to Kyles family and the Department they lost a good Officer and we lost a Brother in Law Enforcement.
I recently retired after 34 years but I am still a deputy in my heart. Could you let me know when the arrangements are finalized so I and my partner can attend to pay tribute to the fallen Officer and brother
