I haven't seen you in over 25yrs. The day I heard about this tragedy. It broke my heart. I am so sorry for your family and everyone close to you. I remember when we were both young and how much you loved your dog. I am sure Jynx misses you as well. I hope for the best for all who all who are enduring this pain. My heart is with you all.

Mrs. Pagerly,
My name is Anthony i live in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania. I wanted to always tell you that your husband inspired me to law enforcement and i'll be graduating at Reading High School this June to go to college for criminal justice so i come back home and do what your husband was. I just wanted to thank you for having a great husband who inspired a 14yrs old kid who he arrested his brother for warrants and inspiring him to become a sheriff for his county and hometown. Thank you

Hey brother, it's that time of the year again. I thought about you a lot over the last week. I watched the memorial video a few times and cried. I'm sure you've seen all the crap that the law enforcement comunity has been through this year, so we need you more than ever to keep looking out for all of us. I still wear your memorial bracelet every time I'm in uniform.

Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

On the anniversary of the day you sacrificed so much, we remember. We remember the man you were. We remember the brother we lost. We remember the family you left behind.

In true fashion and like always your cuffs were working last night. As I'm sure you watched. They chased down a suspect who fled from a stop. Only to be caught and secured by your cuffs.Your still in the fight, and always will be.

We miss you and think about you everyday. I'll see you when I get there.

She is our little angel. She is so, you!!!! I can already see that she will grow up to be one very bright and beautiful girl. you can be very proud of her. You might even be okay having a tattoo of her now. (family joke) . Please continue to keep watch over Paul, Alecia and I. Mrs Pagerly,
I had the opportunity to see you and your daughter for just a few moments today at Stone Harbor. I was the first officer you spoke to. If you or your daughter ever need anything from myself, or wish me to pass on any information or fundraisers to the department please let me know. RIP to a true hero.

Mrs. Pagerly,
Today I read the story of your husbands murder on the police magazine website. I am saddened to think that your husband was killed while you were pregnant. As a fellow officer, husband, and father of three daughters I cannot imagine the loss you have endured. However, please know that as an officer your husband gave his life while pursuing the ultimate goal of all officers: being the thin-blue-line between the wolfs and the sheep of the world. Your husband will NEVER be forgotten. God Bless you and your family; Thank you for your sacrifice.

Kyle, I can't believe our little girl is going to be two in a few days! It feels like just yesterday that we found out we were pregnant. I can't even begin to explain the hole in my heart from losing you, and the hurt I feel thinking of how our little girl never not to meet her daddy and experience what an amazing man you were. I see so much of her in you and I'm so glad that you are living on in her. I miss you everyday and you'll always be in my heart. I LOVE YOU

I honor you. Today, on the 2 years since you've been away, I've seen firsthand the impact you've made. From Alecia and Savannah, Mom's and Pops, the Corps Fit posse, Dani and the Reading boys, to our own.

We do miss you. And though you and I never had the displeasure of pissing each other off as partners, I honor you. A warrior wakes up every day with the fight in him. We will not relent. We will not give up. And it does suck, to lose a fellow warrior- who was not yet ready to leave.

Today we honor you Kyle, from the bikes at Classic, to Mendi, Peaches, MM, and JP dressed to impress with rifles and colors. This Explorer Post of youth, eagerly carrying on the legacy of what Badge 27 will ALWAYS be, they are tomorrow's warriors.

Look down upon us, and give us the strength. As we light the candles at the BBQ pit for you, I will have a shot for you at 2000hrs Pag's.

For though I was not there for you then, I am here for you now. To carry on as all warriors past and present must.

Because we are a damn few.

17 units.... forever.

As we approach the 2nd anniversary what more can I say to you that I haven't already. I sit here in tears as I write this missing you so much, a piece of my heart was torn out on that horrible night. I'm sad for all the things I see around me that you are missing, Savannah is so beautiful and is so much like you in many ways. She brings me strength, thank you for her, watching her grow I know there is always a huge part of you still here with us. I will continue to honor you in every way I possibly can, because I know that is what you would want me to do. I wish you were here with us, we need you. I love you from the bottom of my heart and I do feel blessed that we had 28 years to be mom and son. You were the best any mom could ask for. MISSING YOU!!!!

I had the honor of meeting Deputy Pagerly's mom and step-dad May 12 when officers from Pennsylvania, riding bikes to Washington D.C for Police Memorial Week, stopped at the Bowie Fire Department station 39 (Maryland) for a break. His parents and a large group of supporters were there to support the officers on their ride and to remember Kyle.
Rest in Peace Kyle.
