John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Adam's life here on earth touched many people including mine and mine husbands. May he continue to teach each of us how fragile life is, how to love, how to enjoy life and show the gift of empathy. To Adam's family I continue to pray for you daily even after all this time. May our Heavenly Father continue to hold you close.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

I wake up in the morning
And I look up to the sky
I wonder why he took you
before I said good-bye

I look up to the stars at night
And know you're looking down
I'd like to think you're proud of me
But I'm just stumbling round

I crawl in bed and close my eyes
And realize that you're gone
Then comes the fears and then the tears
And life just seems so wrong

I glance up at the heavens
And I know you're flying by
My Angels watching over me
I'm happy as I cry

Uncle Adam I miss you so much!! you were a great listener, friend, and you were always there when i needed you! I love you!!<3 fallen but not forgotten!

Miss you more and more everyday. I'm starting to line up things for National Police Week in 3 months. I feel like it was just yesterday that I got the phone call, but at times feel as though you are still here. I say a prayer every night now to you asking that you watch over my officers as I'm at work and that you will welcome them with open arms if anything is to happen. Forever & Always Super Trooper ❤

Adam, I think of you everyday I wear the uniform. You were such a good friend and great trooper. I still remember you giving me heck when I decided to go with Hanover and not the state. I miss you so much. You died doing what you loved, and that gives me peace. Until we meet again....

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiance Dennis. Every time I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the officer they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Trooper Bowen, especially to his fiancee. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. (The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. I can also be found on Face Book.) You will be in my thoughts.

From reading the reflections left for Adam, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Adam's life and the MAN that he was. Remember that Adam's life was about so much more than the way he died. Adam will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Trooper Bowen, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my late fiance Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been eight & a half years and he's still very much missed and forever loved.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

Adam,

I still can't believe that you are gone, it plain and simple isn't right. Its true that the good die young! You were the good. I hope as the holidays inch closer and closer you make your presence know to Rae. She is so brave.

I know you didn't want to leave your life here on earth, especially just days before your wedding. I hope you are resting in peace.
