Every officer should have their moment of reflection for our brother who was taken from us way to soon. No matter from where on earth we loose an officer, we grieve for that officer and their family. We must continue with our duty to protect all citizens and remove "Drunk Drivers" from our roadways, prosecution must be to the maximum! As Heaven's Honor Guard takes you to Heaven's Door, we will continue the watch here on earth my brother. Rest in Peace, my prayers are for you and your family.

Smith County Sheriff''s Office

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, brother. It saddens me that another one of our own has been taken from us due to the poor decisons and carelessness of another. You went above and beyond the call of duty and selflessly gave your life to save another, you are a true hero. You have done your family, friends and department proud. You stand relieved, brother, we have the watch. May you forever walk with St. Michael in Heaven and continue to watch over us.
