My heart goes out to you over the loss of your son. I stood in your shoes just a couple of months ago. I know the pain and heartache but I also know that both boy's yours and mine gave their life in doing what they loved. Just have faith in God and turn everything over to him and he will help you through this trying time in your life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Thoughts and prayers go out to this fallen hero. Not only was he doing his family and community proud by dedicating his life to protect that of others, but he was spearheading the escort of more of our nation's bravest. It is tragic that this hero has fallen. As a member of the United States Air Force I am saddened by the news of this on what would otherwise be a great display of our nation's Pride, Courage, and Air Superiority. May you rest in Trooper Wall, and may angels watch over your family and keep them as safe as I am sure you kept your community. God bless you!

I went to the academy with Andy, we came out, and were the only 2 assigned to our county. This guy was more than a co- worker, he was a friend. Anyone who did not know Andy will never get to experience the charisma and great mood this guy could bring to ANY room. Simply put, his laugh!! (and gas)... Laughing Gas, If you knew him, you know what I'm talking about. The Slingblade quotes will never be the same..... Brother, may all your shifts up there end as I remember them. I will NEVER forget you. I'll be calling on you when times get tough. I know you'll always be there, as you always were. I'll miss you Andy, keep us safe!!

Andy, you were an awesome friend to my brother and I am so so glad for that. I will miss being able to joke with you both and laugh at the stunts you would pull on him. Thank you so much for all the laughs through the years. Strength and prayers to your parents, they raised a wonderful man. Also to Cindy and your sister, the days ahead will be very difficult but I will hope they can soon remember all the laughs and happy times without as much pain as they have now. I will miss you.
