Reflections for Trooper Andrew Thomas Wall

To the family and friends of Trooper Andy Wall, You lost someone special to you one year ago today. There are few words that can provide comfort in times like this. Law Enforcement is a family that feels the same loss. It is a sad day when one of our brothers or sisters pays the ultimate price for this profession. My condolences for your loss. I am participating in the Unity Tour for the sixth year in a row. The Unity Tour is a bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington DC. We ride for those who died. We are able to raise in excess of 1.2 million dollars to support the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. I have ridden the tour for two years on a bicycle, three years I attended as a part of the support crew. In two days we will be leaving NJ on our four day ride. This year I will be participating in the capacity of Motor Support, keeping the bicyclists safe. I will be riding in honor and memory of Trooper Andy Wall. Know he will not be forgotten. Again, my condolences.

Victor, Tony and I are going on a 3 day bike ride. We have no idea where we are going, which is the best part about it. We are going to point the bikes in a direction and ride. It's all Good. It was suppose to be the 4 of us. Since you have failed to hold up your end of the bargin, LOL we will just have to pick up your slack. I will make sure that I find me a sidewalk to ride on. I can't find anyone to do the crazy shit that we did when we ride.

I miss you and love you brother. I will drink a non-alcoholic beer for you. I know this will make you laugh.

Still miss you every day. It's not the same without you and your laugh. It's so many little things that made you such a big part of everyone's life that you touched. I still can't quite grasp that you are really gone. In time, I'm supposed to get used to it. Your absence has really impacted all of us. You never even knew how much we all leaned on you.

Gosh dang it, I miss you bro!!! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you!! I know that you died the way you would want to, but that doesn't ease the pain. I know I am not hurting as much as your Dad, Mom, Rachel or Cindy, but nonetheless it still sucks!!! I promise you this...we are all thinking about you daily. All of us (Tom, Wendy, Rachel, Cindy, Matt, Vic, Teddy, Tony, Cory, Paul, Rob, Eric, your troop, motor partners and everyone else) will always remember you. A few of us are planning on coming to D.C. next year to honor you. I know you don't want none of the pomp and circumstance, but get over it...lol...I will be checking back in with you (sling blade voice) from time to time, uh huh

Andy, thank you for being so good to Cindy.
I know she was happy with you, I could see it in the smile on her face, as a father would know.
Andy was a great young man. You will be missed by all that loved you
