I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ralph during my time with Morgan County SO. Ralph was a good man and friend. He always had a smile and a kind word for people. I know this devastated Chief Teddy Bales, the Wartburg PD, but mostly his family. My heart hurts for all who knew him. Rest In Peace brother.

I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Ralph, I never got the opportunity to thank you for the talks and stories u would tell. I miss you drinking coffee at the Quik stop. I learned so much from just listening to you. You are an icon that everyone wished they could be like. Don't worry about us my friend we are fine. Nobody can really talk about you yet, we really miss you here. You don't have to carry your slapjack in your back pocket anymore. Your in heaven now just kick back and relax you deserve it. We just trained for a week on the range last week. Teddy and Dwayne are taking care of preparing for whatever wants to hurt us. Paul has your car now and he is doing a very good job taking care of it, Ive not seen it dirty yet. Ralph we love you and miss you look down on us from time to time. Don't worry I go to the Quik stop and drink a cup of coffe for you on occasions.

God saw u getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around u and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched and we saw u pass away. Although we love u dearly, we could not make u stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best
