Reflections for Senior Officer Specialist Christopher Quinn Cooper

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace fo all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace today.

Rest In Peace.

To Chris's family, I am so terribly sorry. I knew Chris and his brother in high school. Chris was always so polite and always was happy. He was a good kid as I am seeing from the comments here, he was a good Officer. I pray for your family during the times to come. We ask ourselves in times like this "why"? The only answer I have ever been able to understand is that in Heaven as well as on Earth, the most precious people are needed to provide security and support to others. Please know, you are not alone. You have many friends thru the law enforcement family that are with you right now. Chris is now your Angel and he will watch over and protect you. With deepest sympathy.
