For Deputy Sheriff Robert Britton:

The dangers that the law officer on patrol faces are too numerous to recount. We encounter all type of situations whereby the danger is not apparent and worse it is among what is best described as involving an incident normally giving us enough precautionary information. The injured animal complaint is such a call. We regret that our brother Robert would lose his life this way.

We pray for Robert's family, friends. co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the time of need.

We are proud to render Deputy Sheriff Robert Britton a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)

Well Britton, I was really looking forward to hearing '54...10-41, NW.'
& putting you on my screen again. But, it wasn't to be. I'm going to miss you & your easy going ways. Watch over us all. Especially our boys & girls, when they're out on the streets. I may never get to put you on my screen again, but, you'll always be in my heart. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
