Because of your service many people that live and visit Maine were safely rescued after becoming stranded or lost in the North Maine Woods. Your dedication, bravery and professional aviation skills will be missed. You were a committed law enforcement officer, friend, father and husband that lived life with a purpose. Your LE family will never forgot your sacrifice and always honor your service.

We lost a CWO pilot in a plane crash while he was stocking fish. To sacrifice one's life in the name of natural resources is truly heroic. My thoughts and prayers to Warden Gordon's family and the Maine Warden Service. You are not forgotten.
