On 03/22/2011 at about 1330 the lives of many were changed forever. A family lost a husband, father and son. A Police Department lost a great Officer, mentor and brother. And I lost a friend. Your Pastor tells me that you have already forgiven the cowardly man who shot you, and knowing you I am sure he is right. But I have not been able to bridge that gap, and not sure if I will ever be able to. So for the time being I will just continue to pray for you and your family and help where I can.

Well "Bossman" I just can't find the words to describe how I feel, its a hurt that runs deep. But one thing is for sure, I know where you are and if I can just be half the man you were I know we will meet again.

Rest easy my friend...We all miss ya.

Our hearts are broken Buddy, we love you and miss you terribly. I don't think we will ever be the same without you. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, Aman. Gods speed brother. I love you.

I couldnt wait to get home tonight. Jamie Hood has been apprehended and is in custody. Thank goodness this part is over, but a new chapter now must begin-the healing. My heart goes out to everyone at ACC PD as well as friends, family and fellow officers in the loss of this fine man. People who promise to serve and protect others should not have such a tragic end. May justice be swift...
