I pray that gods give you peace through this time in your life. I understand the pain that you are now feeling, it is going on year three for me and the pain is still here. The best advice I can give you is cry when you need to cry, scream when you need to scream, laugh when you need to laugh. All of these things will help you cope better with your loss and I know that nothing will ever replace your husband being here however we have great memories to reflect on. May god bless you and your children I will keep you al in my prayers.

My business was on "College Square" in Athens where Sr Officer Christian did foot and bike patrol as a young officer. "Buddy" was as nice and respectful as anyone could be, but when necessary, 100% lawman. Most of the folks downtown knew him from his friendly manner. He knew the folks he was watching out for, and was welcome everywhere. Last month I saw Buddy on patrol, and he remembered me and asked about my wife. I've been retired for 10 years, seen him maybe 5 or 6 times, but that's how Buddy was - sharp, attention to detail, and always making the ACC force look good.
