I have just read this story on facebook. My heart goes out to the family and friends of this hero. This tragedy should never have happened and I'm so very sorry it did. RIP Deputy Sheriff Sebastian Diana. Those who knew you must be very proud.

Sebastian was an outstanding Deputy that I had the privlege to serve with for over 10 years.He cared about his family, his friends, and the community he proudly served.

Wow, what a shame. I have never heard of anything like this although it is completely plausible. Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of this hero. There is no mention of the baby's recovery or not but hopefully he was able to save the baby's life in his efforts.
