God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain; but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.

There is a special place in heaven for you Deputy Diana! Having four wonderful children of your own, I have no doubt that you acted without hesitation in your efforts to save that baby. My prayers are with your family as they struggle to cope with their loss. Rest in Peace with all the wonderful Officers who have no doubt already taken you under their protective wings.

~To Deputy Sheriff Diana's Family~
There are no words in this world that could ever lessen the anguish that you are going thru. This is so heartbreaking I am actually in pain. May you all get thru (although never totally) this as a family. Everyone deals with death in their own way, but as long as you all share the love and remain a family, it will be ok. Your loved one is a TRUE HERO.

~To Deputy Sheriff Sebastian Diana~
Your picture alone shows what a caring and compassionate man you were in this world. There will absolutely be a void in this world without you.
You are a TRUE HERO and I salute you, sir. May you rest in peace as it is your time now to watch over your family helping them in any way you can. GodSpeed to you.... I am so incredibly sorry.

For Deputy Sheriff Sebastian Diana:

Our duty as law officers is one of facing innumerable situations whereby the outcome is indeterminable either by the odds being against us, or being totally unpredictable. But, in our work, even the most non-threatening situations can place us at high risk in the most unusual ways. We regret that our brother Sabastian would face deadly risk in what would appear to be so simple yet so important a task - rendering life-giving aid to one of the most vulnerable beings we are sworn to protect.

We pray for Seb's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

As a retired state trooper, and a retired Lake County (FL) deputy sheriff, I am proud to render Deputy Sebastian Diana a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenxs (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
