Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Sebastian Edward Diana

My condolences to the family and coworkers of Deputy Diana. His compassion for the child he tried to save speaks volumes about the type of person he was and I am proud to say I served in the same profession as he. I'm sure he has received his Heavenly reward and hope that he looks down and protects those who continue to serve. Rest in peace brother and thank you for your service.

Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

The Lord knew our journey would be tough and the path we faced was going to be rough and so he blessed us with Sebastian, a truely honorable man who lived his life as a loving Christian; husband, father, warrior and friend.

When we were bruised and things were not falling into place as they were supposed to Sea Bass's sense of humor got us through the day with a grin and two big thumbs up.

When he was laughing his laughter filled the room with so much volume and happiness everyone of us stopped what we were doing to join in on the fun.

The Lord told us to be strong and unafraid and Sea Bass made sure we listened.

Deputy Diana,

You are a true hero and a shining example of law enforcement. Your actions gave life to not only one, but two infants and your family should be so proud of you!! I am so sorry that you have left this earth, but you are standing proudly next to GOD in your rightful place.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
