Debbie will be missed. If you had the opportunity to meet Debbie I hope she left a lasting impression as she left with me on the few privilege times I was honored to speak to her. It was very clear Debbie wanted to reach out to help and was not a negative person.

It was indeed my pleasure to work with Ms. Collins on the implementation of procedures for the Intervention Fee some years ago in Jefferson City, MO. She demonstrated a diligence and forthwith to this task. I found myself marveling at her dedication to the agency. Ms. Collins conversation was pleasing and educational. I truly gain a greater respect for the agency from this lady. A true lady at best. The agency can be proud of her service with us.

To the Collins family,my deepest sympathy to you doing this difficult time.My office is in Jefferson City and each month several Parole Supervisors would eat breakfast together prior to our meeting in Springfield. The first thing Debbie would do is talk about how great a family she had and we would compare grandkids pictures. Oh, How she loved her little girl (grand-daughter)!

As you know she was a great person in every way, who will be dearly missed by all.She made a difference in allot of people's lives and her efforts will always be remembered.

While I did not have the privilege to have known her personally, I am certain that she has found a place in heaven through her selfless service to those she swore to protect.

It is with deep sadness that I leave this note. Debbie was a person I did not know well, but have known for many years. Our paths have crossed more frequently in recent years. Her kind heart and genuine passion for helping others could not be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. God Bless. Dale

I'm truly Saddened by her departure. It's very hurtful to me when anyone that I respect and hold in high regard is taken. I will miss her Professional Charisma & soft voice: " Well hello there Fred"! I Pray GOD's Speed to her Husband, Sons & the entire District 25 Staff!!

I only knew Debbie professionally in our P&P Region V Family, but I knew enough about her through observances, readings, and other interactions to know that she worked hard to get where she was, and throughout her journey along the road to get there she touched many, many lives and was an ambassador for finding the nugget of gold that is buried deep within even the least-deserving, most wretched soul .... like a pebble in a pond, her life and love and commitment to mankind will continue to rippple throughout the anals of time, touching others for years to come.
Lovingly known, and sadly missed .....

I had the privilege of working with Debbie on the food service operation for the Poplar Bluff Community Supervision Center. She worked hard to ensure the food quality and quantity met the clients' needs. She is a highly respected individual and I will miss her. I would like to extend my condolences to the family and will keep you in my prayers.
